I am a 4 year survivor. I am not sure what your question is. They call it survivor. It is just a term to mean you are still alive. You never know what the future holds, even if you don?t get breast cancer. So to me survivor is just a cutesy title. Put it more realistically?breast cancer, the surgery, the chemo and its lasting emotional effects?I am not sure it is so much surviving as just barely living. To me anyway, I don?t see anything to brag about how many years. People want to fire you because a history of cancer increases the health insurance rates for their company and so they do and they give you another reason and you can?t do anything about it. So maybe I survived only to later contemplate suicide. Sorry, but I am feeling crappy today.

You may then hold your own private memorial service in your home if you prefer. You may scatter the ashes or keep them stored in an urn. The choice is yours. This method will save you alot of money!
Whether you are pre-planning your own arrangements, or you just lost a loved one. Do some research! If you are looking to save some money, or you cannot afford the 1000% markup of costs? look around, do some research, you do have other choices. You can choose a direct cremation service not associated with the 1000% markup of a funeral home. Or if you or your family member do not want to be cremated you can go through a funeral home, BUT that does not mean you have to pay for one of their urns or caskets, you can opt to buy your own from a discount casket outlet, or online. AND you do not have to opt for a memorial service to be held at the funeral home, you may decide to have it at your church or in your home.
